Design-2-Part Show 2025 in Santa Clara brought together a diverse mix of engineering, manufacturing and supply chain professionals – each navigating the increasingly complex environment of product development.
Design-2-Part continues to attract a diverse range of industries focused on solving complex design and manufacturing challenges. While the 2025 show featured a wide variety of sectors, several stood out for their momentum and focus on advancing their electronics manufacturing strategy.
we saw strong engagement from companies in electronics and embedded systems (including PCBAs and integrated hardware), agritech, EV and battery technologies and security and surveillance solutions. These sectors are actively investing in smarter design approaches, scalable manufacturing strategies and long-term supply chain resilience as they pursue growth and respond to rapidly evolving market needs.
Throughout the event, we spoke with a wide range of attendees – from engineers and procurement VPs to C-suite executives – all bringing their perspective to shared challenges. It was equally encouraging to see established start-ups and students and recent graduates eager to engage in discussions about the future of manufacturing and innovation.
A clear theme emerged over the 2 days: products are becoming more sophisticated and success depends on bridging gaps between design, manufacturing and supply chain from the start. Common threads included:
- Early alignment between design and manufacturing to reduce downstream risk
- Resilient, flexible supply chains capable of adapting to shifting demands
- Managing complex assemblies while maintaining performance and quality
- Accelerating time-to-market without compromising manufacturability
We also appreciated reconnecting with current customers who stopped by the booth to share their support and talk through upcoming priorities.
LOOKING AHEAD: Design-2-Part reaffirmed that companies across industries are not only building complex products – they’re rethinking how design, engineering and manufacturing need to work together to stay competitive. As technologies evolve and product expectations rise, the need for aligned, agile and scalable approaches is only growing.
At Synergetics, we’re continuing the conversations that started at the show, with a focus on helping companies navigate complexity, accelerate time to market and build smarter from the start.
LET’S KEEP THE CONVERSATION GOING: If you’re exploring how to improve your manufacturing strategy or product optimization, we’d be glad to share what we’re seeing and how you can navigate these challenges in a commercially beneficial way, without compromising on quality or time-to-market.
